FFGC Wekiva Camp Needs Reusable Totes
Wekiva Youth Camp for students would like your help in providing Re-usable Totes (such as grocery store, drug store, etc.) for our campers to take their craft items home in this summer, illustrating to their families the importance of Recycling and Re-using!!!
We’re asking everyone to please bring one (or more!) Re-usable Totes to Convention for Wekiva Youth Camp! If you are not attending the conference, you can give your bags to Marion Dunn, Lana Arnold or Kathy Carmichael to take for you. Wekiva Youth Camp will thank you for this contribution!!!

SEEK Scholarships
Katherine Fite has again contributed to the Katherine Ashton SEEK Scholarship Fund enabling local high school students to attend the SEEK Conference in July. We encourage others to make contributions to the scholarship fund.
The cost for the conference is $200, but our Garden Club is offering a limited number of partial scholarships. If you know of a 9th-11th grade youth who interested in the environment and the outdoors, invite them to check out SEEK on the FFGC.org website(click on ‘youth’ and ‘SEEK’). Applications are available online or from Donna Frinks (phone 385-0078, email dfrinks@yahoo.com ). Scholarships based on environmental interests and need. All youths attending must be sponsored by a Garden Club.
Spring Flower Show and Bazaar Apr 25
Everyone is getting excited about the coming Flower Show! Lana Arnold is making it fun for everyone. Get your horticulture ready to exhibit or sign up with Marion Dunn to enter a floral design.
Eleven Circles have reserved a space for the Garden Bazaar on the front lawn. Other gardening organizations are being invited to participate. We should have lots of “garden” related items to peruse and purchase. It should be a fun day.
Plan NOW to attend and participate!
